On January 5, 2016, the new Fitbit Blaze was introduced at CES 2016 in Las Vegas. The Fitbit Blaze is a smartwatch that puts fitness first, before your social life. “The Blaze uses your phone’s connection to track GPS for runs and to get buzzing notifications for incoming calls, texts, and calendar appointments. But that’s it: this won’t be full of Facebook messages or have separate apps” noted the CNET review. The outside design tech look similar to the Apple Watch, but with different functions. People were complaining that the Fitbit Blaze released after the holidays after a lot of consumers bought the Fitbit Surge.
Fitbit: They would have some sales coming in.
Consumers: They might not buy it, because they got the surge during the holidays.
Apple: Might not be ok with the design.
